Overview
DLC is a business solution for power utility companies that restrains peak load
in the electric power system.
The utility company makes a contract with end-users and directly controls customers'
electric equipments during the peak load time, which will eventually save expenditure
on new power plants.
Based on Internet or PCS, DLC can help to maintain a sufficient capability reserve
ratio as a provision for increasing demand, especially against the difficulties
in securing power supply equipments on account of NYMBY or other environmental
issues.
